I know they are hard to see - but there are 2 different Merlin's in the trees. One must be the female and the other a fledged Merlin. We saw them flying by the cottage every day.

Common Loon and 3 Merlins August 3, 2010
Over the 3 days we saw a loon every day. Around 5pm he would swim pass the cottage. On the Wed we also saw him fly by early in the morning. The cottage also had a pair of Merlin's with one know young. Janice I were relaxing at the dock when the Merlin's started calling. We heard 3 call and visually saw 2 Merlin's with the 3rd one calling in another tree.
