Ruby Throated Hummingbirds at a Rose August 29 2010

today I was lazing by the rose bushes with a book. The hummingbird flew past and I grabbed the camera. The lighting was great but the rose is overexposed. My friend Janice (my master at photoshop) is going to try and fix it for me.

Hawk Watch at Rosetta and Back yard August 28, 2010

Erle and I were sitting in the back yard enjoying the breeze when a juvenile red tailed hawk started to circle the house.

Today at the Rosetta McLean Garden Hawk Watch, Frank Carol and I saw a mixture of hawks and they were all fairly close. The lighting was quite bad but the photos are ok.
