Red-shouldered Hawk Release Nov 2 2011

What a wonderful sight seeing a Red-Shouldered Hawk who had been injured and treated by the Toronto Wildlife Centre be release. The hawk was in a hurry to get south. He was gone so fast I didn't even see him leave the park. What a wonderful place the wildlife cetnre is. We are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky to have Rescue Staff like Andrew and Alex. The wonderful volunteers like Chris and Janice are totally dedicated to hellp injured wildlife in any way they can. Thank you so much. Here is the sequence of the releas.

  1. Great story and photos!
It would've been something to see the Red-shouldered Hawk so close-up.
I've never even seen one in flight that I know of.
