Eastern Screech Owl. Today i was very dissappointed and upset by what a photograher was doing. The owl was relaxed in the tree and the man took his camera (small lens) on a monopod with a flash and stuck it in the owls face (appr. 6 - 8 inches away from the owl) to get a shot. WHY I ASK. The man said he doesn't care. RIGHT. IDIOT. If you want a close up shot use a longer lens and do a tight crop. I honestly wonder where some peoples brains are.
