Brown Thrasher and Diane and Garys Red Tailed Hawks Nest

April 14, 2010
I drove by Diane and Gary's Red Tail nest. Luckily Diane and Gary were home and we were treated to one of the hawks coming out of the nest. As well a pair of light morph red tailed hawks came into their territory. The female was making that beautiful red tail call and very soon the 2 intruders left the nest area. Amazing luck.

Only had a short time at the park this morning but Betty and I had some very nice sightings. The brown thrasher was digging up leaves in one corner, the hermit thrush was posing in the tree and the pair of flickers calling.
