Trumpeter Swan Adults and Cygnets

I was so lucky to be invited to Bluffers Park to see the newborn cygnets to Sweetie and Hamlet. So far two little cygnets have been born. Still three more eggs. Thanks Jill Ramsey for inviting me. The shots of the cygnet rolling out of the nest with feet in the air are my favourite shots.

A few shots of the adults and the newly fledged Kimani (who is unfortunately missing now), her sisters Luna and Carina. All have fledged and Carina and Luna are doing ok.

Harlequin Peregrines. Adults protecting young

One of the fledged peregrines Kimani flew but came right to the ground. The Canadian Peregrine Foundation had to put her back on the ledge. The parents went nuts when he went on the nest building. Enjoy the flight shots.
