Long Eared Owl, Snowy Owl, Coyotes and American Kestrel Dec 24 2012
Went out with Pam Higgins to look for owls. Pam saw her first Long-eared Owl, Snowy Owl, Great Horned Owl, plus a Barred Owl. I also had a screech owl at home. In our travels we released a Toronto Wildlife Centre wild turkey. Saw 2 coyotes, deer and so much more. Great day, great outing. Thanks Pam.

Wild Turkey rescue on Dec 23, 2012
On Dec 21, 2012 I was asked by Toronto Wildlife Centre to keep an eye on a wild turkey that was wandering the roads in Scaroborugh. On Dec 23, 2012 I found the turkey in the middle of Kingston Road (6 lanes of traffic). Called Andrew (head rescue staff) who came immediately to help with the rescue of the wild turkey.
For a view of the event live check out my youtube video of the event.
I can safely say the wild turkey was rescued.
