The highlight of the trip was a Boreal Owl. It is a rare visitor to Ontario and only a handful are seen each year. She was stunning. The photos do not do her justice as she was deep in the tree on the branch. janice and I went back on Jan 17 for another look. She had moved around in the tree so the lighting is a bit different.
