Margaret Bev and I were treated to some amazing sighting this past Sunday.  Perfect weather for some bird watching.

 Rusty Blackbirds. 

Severe habitat loss, climate change and pollution has caused a massive drop in numbers of Rusty Blackbirds.

Kestrel - male and female Oct 201, 2013

 Margaret, Bev and I were able to watch a pair of kestrels hunting the field. The day was sunny. The kestrels were very active and we had the road to ourselves.
