One of the highlights was meeting Joel who gave Donna, Janet and I a tour of the local Landfill site. Don't think dump, think a area when they drop off garbage and surrounding it was ponds, marshes, trees, and it was filled with birds. OH MY. Thank you Joel.
The day started where we met Joel at the local restuarant and there was a Cattle Egret sitting on the fence. From that point on we saw many many cattle egrets. Some in the landfill site, some on hydro lines, some in the grass and many at the wetlands.
