When Janice and I heard that the snowy egret had been seen we decided to take a drive and look for it. The rain had started so away we went. The first stop to look was the jackpot. 15 great egrets and there in the middle of the pond was the snowy egret. Smaller than a regular egret, long flowing hair but what really stood out was the golden slippers. Check out the flight shot.
