Red Tailed Hawk Release with Chris May 20 , 2011

Flight to freedom. Today Chris (volunteer at Toronto Wildlife Centre) was doing a few releases. I was thrilled as supporter of the centre and friend to go with Chris.
Chris carefully opens box of hawk on the top of a hill facing a wooded lot.

Red-Tailed Hawk was ready to go and flew out of the box to freedom

Once he arrived at the tree he just sat there. Within minutes he was harassed by a mockingbird, robin and crow. When we left he had moved around the tree.
