Ruby-crowed Kinglet - in my backyard April 2013
Being home sick sometimes works out. Sitting in the backyard resting my throat when I hear the sound of kinglets in the backyard. I went to take a look and there were hundreds of them. They seemed curious about me and Rory my dog. Sitting on low branches moving so fast you can hardly see them. I was thrilled to see the ruby colour on the head. Believe it or not this is my first shots where you can see the red. Enjoy
Also in back yard was Eastern Towhee, Yellow-crowned kinglets, House Wren, Cardinals, Warblers (too high up to see), Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers, Sparrows, and more.
