Carol and I went for a drive today and on the way back from the heron rookery we saw the sheep and lambs. Of course I had to back up and pull over. I took a couple of shots and the farmer was yelling at me. Thinking I was in trouble I went over to him and he said do you want to go closer - come with me. We were able to go right up to the fence and he yelled for them to come and see us. What a wonderful farmer to share these little beauties with us. There were 2 sets of twins and many single lambs. Also it take 5 months for the lambs to be born so they only have them once a year. These ones were 3 weeks old and it was their first day out of the barn and in the filed. Lucky us. Thrill beyond words.
