Since Monday I have seen 3 heron rookeries. Amazing places and the the plumage on the great blue heron is beyond words. You really have to see it to believe it. At one of the heron rookery there was also a bald eagle in a nest (terrible photos as it was soooooooooooooo far away) Saw the one in the nest and one flying overhead. The last one I saw I was looking into the sun so again poor shots.
