Juvenile Turkey Vulture - gray/black face August 14, 2010

The next 3 pages are from an outing with Frank on August 14, 2010Frank spotted this juvenile Turkey Vulture on Hwy 7. Luckily there was a large pull over area right by it. It was sitting on hydro line and then gave us a wonderful show of flying trying to gain height off the road. Notice the face is grey/black as compared to adults with a red face. I put a photo of an adult at the bottom.
