A great blue heron flew into Reesor Pond today - the resident Great Blue Heron chased it, make some weird noises and kicked the other one out of his territory. Very interesting watching this.

Great Egret Kingfisher and more July 24, 2010
Took a drive this morning to Reesor Pond. Was delighted to see the great egret, greater yellowlegs, kingfisher and more. It was beautiful weather this morning at the pond and well worth a visit.
