Robin - my first time seeing one fledge from the nest May 30, 2013
My husband and I have been watching a pair of Robins who have nested in our back yard. Three babies were born and each day you could see them getting bigger and more active. On Friday I was off work in the afternoon and I checked out the nest. The babies were sitting on the edge of the nest. They would fly soon. I grabbed my tripod and watched the action. Mom came in to feed the three babies and when she left so did one of the babies. It landed in my neighbours yard. WOW. Went in to tell Erle. Shortly after that the second one went. I was able to watch them for a few hours that afternoon as they flew from branch to branch. Mom and Dad were busy feeding them and watching them. AMAZING. Enjoy the baby shots.
