Great Egret and Green Heron Way to end my day June 5 2009

Had a great day and stopped at the marsh to see if anything was there. I was thrilled to see the great white egret and it was like watching ballet with it flying everywhere. Then I noticed on to the side a green heron hunting. Just a couple of shots.

Fox on the hunt - Success May 22 , 2009

Early this morning while having my coffee I noticed the fox coming down the road. He stopped outside my house and sat on the lawn. He was watching a squirrel. He sat there for a good 5 minutes. I grabbed my camera and started to take some photos. He is looking really skinny and his molt is awful. But he can move really fast when he see the breakfast he wants. He took off got his meal and then wandered down the road. I still have no idea where is den is but it has to be close.
